We all know skin care products can get expensive. If you're looking for a little extra pampering in your routine, check your pantry before heading to the store! Here are 10 pantry staples you can use as skin care products.

1. Coconut Oil a Moisturizer and Makeup Remover

Coconut oil is an amazing moisturizer for dry skin. It can also be used as a makeup remover. It seriously works better than most store-bought makeup removers - it even works on eye makeup!

2. Brown Sugar and Olive Oil as a Lip Scrub

This is the perfect combination of a moisturizer and an exfoliator. You can scrub the paste onto your lips either using your finger or an old toothbrush. Your lips will feel smooth and healthy after using this lip scrub.

3. Cucumber Slices as Under Eye Treatment

This one may sound silly, I know, but the cartoons are onto something. Cucumbers are full of Vitamin C and Folic Acid, which are ingredients in many of the expensive skin care products. Cucumbers help reduce the darkness and puffiness under the eyes.

4. Baking Soda as a Foot Soak

Soak your feet in a bowl of warm water with a couple of tablespoons of baking soda. After soaking for about 20 minutes, scrub your feet with an exfoliator. You will walk away feeling like you just had a pedicure at a spa!

5. Apple Cider Vinegar as a Toner

ACV has so many benefits whether you drink it or use it on your skin. Mix 1 part ACV to 2 parts water to use as a toner. When used as a toner, ACV will help minimize your pores, cleanse your skin, and balances your pH levels.

6. Honey as a Face Mask

Honey is antibacterial and moisturizing, which makes it the perfect face mask. It also helps improve acne and acne scarring.

7. Coffee Grounds as a Body Scrub

Mix coffee grinds with coconut or olive oil to make an exfoliating body scrub - just like the fancy treatments at the spa! The best part is, you can do this after you've already used the coffee, so there's no waste!

8. Yogurt to Treat Sunburn

Yogurt has anti-inflammatory benefits and moisturizes sunburns. It feels cool on the skin which provides temporary relief.

9. Sea Salt as a Body Scrub

Sea salt scrubs work great at getting rid of dead skin. They are more abrasive than sugar scrubs, which makes them more effective, but also more rough on sensitive skin. Mix 2 parts sea salt to 1 part coconut or olive oil to make a scrub.

10. Oatmeal as a Face Mask

Oats help soothe irritated and dried skin. Some people even use them to help with issues like eczema or psoriasis. Make sure you use an oatmeal without any additives or flavor.

Before dropping a ton of money on the newest skin care products, try some of these natural products first! It's always a good idea to test patch a small area to make sure your skin reacts well to the product. Let us know if you have any other homemade skin care ideas in the comments below!
